Entomology Club

About:

The entomology organization provides members with opportunities to explore,

learn, and connect with the different applications entomology, the study of insects, has. The

medical, forensic, research, public health, and public media are just some of these applications.

We will have specialists and professionals in some of these fields come to give presentations on

information relating to these fields, movie nights, current article discussions, and even an

informative ‘Bug Blog’ on social media where students get the opportunity to learn how to

educate the public on general factoids on the insect selected but also the opportunity to create

infographics that provide health-related topics (vector Borne Diseases, Prevention Methods,

etc.)
